ABOUT
I am a Wedding and Event Planner in the Chicagoland Area. I have extensive hands-on experience planning, managing, and executing a wide variety of events and weddings.
I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with a focus
in Organizational and Leadership Communications. Additionally, I received a minor in Family and Consumer Science with a focus in interior design and hospitality. During my College Career, I executed 5 Event Planning Internships.
While at Old Orchard Country Club, I executed 170 events and weddings.
I have a passion for creating, collaborating, captivating, and celebrating the moments that matter most.
THE EVENT THAT STARTED IT ALL
Since 2010, my parents have hosted an Annual Adult Costume Party the Saturday before Halloween. What started as an event that I strongly disliked as a child, ended up fascinating me as a teenager and drawing me into the theatrics surrounding the night.
Over the years, I began helping my parents plan and set up this 100+ attendee evening extravaganza. Between the all-out spooky indoor and outdoor décor, Halloween themed snacks and beverages, a costume contest, and the life-sized lurching vampire that scares almost everyone who passes, you could say I became interested.
Within the past couple years, the event has moved outside with pop-up tents, heaters, a bartender, and a live band or DJ to accommodate the growing number of attendees. Thanks to this party, Halloween has become something that I look forward to every year as well as turned into my favorite holiday.
So when people ask what inspired my interest to be an Event Planner, my response is my parent's incredible Annual Adult Costume Party.
